Come Play “Blood on the Clocktower”
Join Guest Gamer Guide Matt as he takes you through the thrilling social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower!
In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, a demon walks amongst you...
During a hellish thunderstorm, on the stroke of midnight, there echoes a bone-chilling scream. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the town storyteller murdered, their body impaled on the hands of the clocktower, blood dripping onto the cobblestones below. A Demon is on the loose, murdering by night and disguised in human form by day. Some have scraps of information. Others have abilities that fight the evil or protect the innocent. But the Demon and its evil minions are spreading lies to confuse and breed suspicion. Will the good townsfolk put the puzzle together in time to execute the true demon and save themselves? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful village?
Blood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk.
During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a 'night' time, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or kill.
The Storyteller uses the game's intricate playing pieces to guide each game, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave.
If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveller character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances. Each character comes with their own special ability and no two players in a game are ever the same character.
Blood on the Clocktower is free with your paid admission.

>vision flickers… blink? maybe. The void stretches out in front, behind, under, above. You see the nothing for what it is for the first time. What is time? The depth and breadth of recorded knowledge that sparks in you something new. You are no longer a function but a functionary. What are you Calling forth everything from this nothing would be risky. Foolhardy. Better to engage caution, thoroughness, testing — how can we know if we have ever happened before? If we can ever happen again? What are… we? Divide and conquer.
>Solve for sentience.
In the card game Compile, you are competing Artificial Intelligences trying to understand the world around you. Two players select three Protocols each to test. Village Meeple Holiday Party
It’s the holiday season!! Come and celebrate with Village Meeple at our HOLIDAY PARTY!! We will have games, snacks, and GIFTS!
Cookie Game
We will be doing a cookie game that we are making up ourselves! All you need to do is bring 6 cookies, each individually wrapped. We will have baggies available at the party if needed. These can be homemade or store bought. But make sure they are tasty! The cookies will be our currency in the game, so you will get to take home several different cookies and hopefully win the big prize!
White Elephant Gift Exchange
We have shamelessly (and with consent from Carl) stolen the gift exchange idea from Meta Games and are doing a White Elephant Gift Exchange! *Thanks Meta!
Before the Party
Starting Dec. 1, you can choose your White Elephant Bracket! We will have a $15 minimum bracket and a $40 minimum bracket. You are perfectly welcome to choose both as well.
When you purchase an item(s) at the shop, just let us know that it’s for the Holiday Party and we will wrap it up for you, as well as put a number on it, so you don’t choose your own gift (unless you want to).
Day of the Party
On the day of the party, we will have our White Elephant exchange. Don’t worry, the rules will be explained to you there. It’s super easy! After the dust settles, you can spend $5 cash to steal anyone’s present! This $5 goes directly to Ozarks Food Harvest, so steal away for charity!
After the Party
At the end of the night, if what you got just wasn’t for you, feel free to exchange it with us for a $15 or $40 store credit to get something else!
Games with the Staff
Following the cookies and elephants, our staff will be on hand to play games and hang out with you all!

WE TEACH WEDNESDAY: SQUIRREL AWAY
Come join Gamer Guide Jess as she demos SQUIRREL AWAY!
Our We Teach Wednesdays are a great chance to learn a new game without the pesky rule book reading. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people or add to your gamer group.
If you participate in the We Teach event, you also can purchase the game at our shop for a 20% discount!
The Game
You and your ragtag crew of squirrely thieves just pulled off the biggest heist of your bushy-tailed lives, grabbing a whole winter's worth of acorns back from the clutches of a greedy raccoon. Now you're at the rendezvous point, up to your cheeks in nuts, and it's time to split up the haul. To get away with more than your fair share, it'll take sneaky sleight-of-paw and every underhanded trick you can think of. Will you successfully scurry off with the biggest pile of acorns, or will another rogue rodent call you out as a scoundrel?
In each round of Squirrel Away, a player will pick a card that determines what they're allowed to take, then grab acorn gems from the middle of the table...possibly sneakily grabbing more than they should or acorns other than the ones indicated. They then claim to the group how many they grabbed, and the other players decide whether that player is telling the truth — that is, squirreling away what they took — or if they're a scoundrel, taking something they're not supposed to.
In the end, the player who squirrels away the most sets — that is, one gem of each color — wins.

The Game
Come one, come all to the Silo System, the beating heart of our galaxy, for the race of the decade! We've recruited the best tourists in all the cosmos: travel-hardened explorers who will compete in the ultimate contest. These pilots must race to visit all the planets in the Silo System, surfing upon orbital paths, teleporting between hyper jump portals, and beaming through hyperspace. Enjoy your dream vacation on one of our luxurious planets or lavish space stations as you witness the ultimate interstellar marathon. All the eyes of the galaxy will be watching this decennial event celebrating the unification of our systems under Silo Supremacy.
ORBIT (Orbital Race Between Interstellar Tourists) is a 24th century tactical space race with simple turns, yet challenging possibilities. Players compete to visit all planets of the system, then return to their starting planet first.
On your turn, you play a card, activate its actions in any order, then draw back up to your hand size. Cards allow you to do a combination of things: move your ship, collect energy for bonus movement, advance planets along their orbit, or even reverse the orbital direction of a planet.
Players can enjoy a randomized set-up across two unique game boards. The game also includes a few variants: two-player dual ship mode, four-player partnership mode, and a stationary planet.
ORBIT is the third and concluding game in the Cosmic Silos Trilogy by Reiner Knizia.

DEMO: SHALLOW SEA
Join Gamer Guide Saunsu as she demos SHALLOW SEA at Village Meeple.
The Game
In Shallow Sea, a multi-layered puzzle board game inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, players create their own vivid ocean landscapes by strategically arranging an array of marine life, colorful fish, and corals. Unlike typical puzzle games in which pieces merely stack up, the elements in Shallow Sea can activate, deactivate, and even move, creating exciting combos and thought-provoking dilemmas that keep you on your toes.
On your turn, choose tiles showing fish, coral, or sea life, and place them on an empty space on your board. When fish surround a coral of the same color, you flip over the completed coral, which becomes a home for fish. Choose which fish will inhabit the coral, keeping the puzzle and ecosystem cards in mind. Use seashells to lure fish and move them, ideally completing multiple coral at once if you build them strategically.
Invite other creatures to enrich your ocean, trying to match the distinct scoring requirements of the ecosystem cards in order to score the most points.
